Ch-ch-ch-changes!

Ya know, every now and then change is good. Change is new. It's exciting. Sometimes it's a little scary, but that's all part of the fun.

There are so many new things on the horizon for us these days. The first and most immediate is our living situation. We are officially getting a three bedroom place right across the street from where we are now in a few weeks! This is so exciting! We can finally have a guest room that's actually a guest room; not a garage/shed/storage for furniture that should go in other rooms, etc.

And we can also have an office. I know this sounds a little silly, but I think having a more official place to work will really spur my productivity as far as several of my writing/photography projects are concerned. {Yay!} I can't tell you how huge it will be for me to finally finish everything I've started. I don't know if Brendan even thinks it's possible. For a while I don't know if I did. But it is. And I will be finished soon.

I guess I should correct myself. The new place is not the most immediate thing. The next thing is definitely the most obvious. I did something I usually do at least once every two years. I ditched my trusty blonde and went for something a little different. This time I just wanted to do something a little lower maintenance, nothing too dramatic.

I ended up a brunette.

Not really sure how I feel about it. I may be going for some highlights. Pish posh. It's just hair.

That's really not the best picture I could have taken because I'm all sweaty and gross. Why???

Funny you should ask. I am sweaty and gross in the above picture for one reason and one reason only. Ok, it's really hot outside and you can get sweaty just by walking to your car. But the main reason I'm so gross is because I was out running! Why would I ever do that in such direly humid conditions? Well, in addition to sweating out every toxin in my body from every pore in my body, I am committing to losing some serious pounds in the next six weeks.

Yes, it's a little nuts. Yes, this is the hottest time of the year and I just canceled my gym membership, so yes, I will be sweating a lot. But I've been wanting to get into better shape for a while now and I have just six weeks until my trash-the-dress shoot with the wonderful and fabulous Liz Duren so I've got to get in tip top shape. Stay tuned. I will be posting my progress.

Why am I doing a trash-the-dress shoot after so long? I've always wanted to do it... I don't know. Why am I asking myself 'why?' so many times? I don't know.

Well, I guess that's enough changes for now.

In other news, planning for Eurotrip 2k11 is in full motion. I feel like it's going pretty well, but I'm not entirely sure how realistic it is to cram so many places into just two weeks. If I had my way, we might spend the whole time in France, though I do want to see as much as possible of everywhere.

Has anyone been to these places? Any tips or recommendations? Are all of these stops over ambitious?

We plan to stay very flexible and keep everything subject to change. We still have about nine months before jumping over to the other side of the pond. I'm sure our plans will change a million times in the meantime.
