We are finally married! After all of the planning, daydreaming, and countless confirmation phone calls, it actually happened. The wedding could not have been more perfect! I just floated through the day with out a care in the world, no nervous breakdowns or bridezilla moments. Brendan on the other hand, was a little jittery from what I hear, but in the end, it was a total dream come true. We could not be more thankful for the beautiful weather and the hard work of all of our vendors, friends and family. You all were what made the day so special, so we thank you thank you thank you for all of your help, and just being there to share the day with us.
After spending a night in the fabulous new Westin downtown, we jet set to Kaua'i were we enjoyed the perfect balance of leisure and exploration. We literally took about 700 pictures, so I will only post a few here, but we're working on getting them all up on Picasa, so we'll let you know as soon that's up and running. Pictures include our excursion to the breath-taking Waimea Canyon, beautiful shots of the Kilauea Light House and bird sanctuary, and of course, Hanalei Bay.
I have to be honest, it is a little sad that all the festivities are over, but I am so excited for what's to come! The honeymoon may be over, but the Mendenhalls are just getting started!
