Thanksgiving + NYC + Awesomeness

Sooo....I wanted to blog sooner than this, but it's taken a little while to recover from all the excitement.

The week before the real Thanksgiving, we had our Thanksgiving. It was comprised of all the usual suspects: creamy garlic mashed potatoes, my favorite green bean casserole, glorious turkey, sweet glazed carrots, et cetera, et cetra. Now if you've seen me in the kitchen, you know it can get a little crazy. But not so this year. I'm proud to say that everything came together quite well and with seamless clean-up. Thish made for the perfect day's ending: eating a variety of pies while watching Elf in the affectionately named "big lady"/"big man" pants (ie Brendan's oversized sweats). Actually there was a little bit more to the night's ending which involved the over use of the word and reenactment of the scenario "Roadhouse!", but this is neither the time nor place to divulge those sensitive details.

Anyway, here's a glimpse of fake Thanksgiving 2K9:

Buddies.

Mama Judy. I wish I would have focused the camera better. I think this is good picture of her.

Boys watching the game.

Cute.
