Weekend Recap

What a great weekend! Brendan and I have had the pleasure of hanging out with my wonderful Dad since Thursday. The first part of his visit we ate at some of our local favorites (EVO and Jim n' Nick's), walked around the waterfront park in North Chuck (let me tell you Charleston people, it is better than the one in Mt. P, and check out the old Naval Officers' housing too) and hanging out around the island.

The second half of our shenanigans involved Clemson football, running into friends, NewSpring, and a lot of driving- which isn't so bad when you're in good company and your team wins. We may be from Maryland, but I'm pretty sure Brendan's blood is orange. Sorry, Terps. It wasn't your game.

Plus we got to see a pretty great tribute to CJ Spiller and the retiring of his jersey, which was pretty touching. He's such an amazing guy and incredible athlete.

Number 28 being retired...love Spiller!

And now we're back, not so much ready for the week ahead, but looking forward to getting it over with so we can finally have a weekend to hang around and do nothing. Except for carving pumpkins. We'll definitely be doing that!
